SERVICE UNITS IN WINNERS’ CHAPEL

For this unit, members create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere; show kindness and care to those in need of physical support.
In addition, it receives worshippers and usher them to their seats and ensures orderliness in the services.
The distribution of church-related materials like handbills, magazines etc is done via members of this service unit.
SANCTUARY KEEPING (Ex.19:10-11; Gen.2:15)
The Sanctuary Keepers service group in Winners’ Chapel sees that the church of God and the entire premises are well. Members usually meet on Saturday mornings.
SECURITY SURVEILLANCE (Neh.7:3)
It sees to the security of lives and property especially vehicles within the church premises and enjoys membership from serving military personnel, para-military, ex-servicemen, security service operators among others.
TRAFFIC CONTROL UNIT (2 Chro.1:14)
Members attend to vehicle/movement outside the main sanctuary and the adjoining roads reading to the church. FRSC personnel, VIO, Traffic-Wardens and all other traffic-related professionals are highly-needed in this service group or unit in the church.
TECHNICAL UNIT (Ex.36:1-2)
It sets up and maintains public address systems in the Winners’ Chapel. Productions of teaching tapes on CDs, and DVDs are also carried out by the group.
CHOIR (2 Chro.5:13-14)
The service group leads the congregation to offer quality praise and worship, music, minister inspirational spiritual songs. Experience in singing ability and skill to play musical instruments are advantages for those who wish to join this department in church.
CROWD CONTROL UNIT (1 Cor.14:40)
Ensures the orderly movement of worshippers within the church and its premises.
COUNSELING/FOLLOW UP UNIT (Acts.15:36; 18:25-26)
Members receive and counsel new converts after every service and ensure the follow-up of new converts and first time worshippers to establish them in the faith and in the church.
CHILDREN/TEEN TEACHERS (Deut.6:6-7)
The service group maintains order in the children/teen’s sections, teaches and instructs the children/teens in the children’s section of the church in the way of the Lord. Prior training and experience in child upbringing is an advantage for those joining the unit.
DECORATION (Ex.31:2-9)
It sees to the decoration and beautification of the church for all occasions. Experienced interior decorators are highly welcomed to this service unit.
MEDICAL UNIT (LK.10.33-34)
They attend to medical needs during services, direct and help congregants in need of medical attention at the church clinic and during healing school programs.
Doctors, nurses and others who are experienced in medical services are qualified to be members of the unit.
HOSPITALITY UNIT (Rm.12:13; Heb.13:1-2)
Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the church services. Show kindness and care to those in need of physical support.
PROTOCOL UNIT
The protocol unit or service group of the Winners’ Chapel is involved in welcoming and receiving visitors, manning the doors and providing information to worshippers and visitors.
