There are many service units in the Winners’ Chapel also called the Living Faith Church (LFC) for those interested in using their skills to promote the gospel.

WHY JOIN SERVICE UNITS IN WINNERS’ CHAPEL?

According to the Winners’ Chapel, “Kingdom Service is the use of your divine endowment e.g. talent, strength, time, resources, etc. in promoting the kingdom of God on earth. Eph 2:10; Romans 12:1, John 5:17, John 9:4.

“Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your ceiled houses, and this house lie waste?” …. (Hag 1:1-4).”

It added: “We are co-workers with God and he expects us to contribute to His Kingdom building with the use of our skills, time, strength, talent and resources.

“We have many opportunities for every person to minister and in turn, be ministered to. Take the time to explore the different ministry opportunities and take the time to serve and get involved.” 

BENEFITS OF JOINING SERVICE UNITS IN WINNERS’ CHAPEL

Furthermore, the church said: “There are many benefits of kingdom service and the word of God validates this in:

“Exodus 23:25, “you shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee”.

“One of the most rewarding things you can do is be of service to others. It not only helps others but it also helps you. Amongst other things, it gives you self confidence and more importantly, great joy.” 

SERVICE UNITS IN WINNERS’ CHAPEL 

I have compiled all service units in Winners’ Chapel called Living Faith Church for you so you can prayerfully pick the one of your choice:

TRANSPORT UNIT (Isa.2:3; Mic.4:1-2.) 

This service unit is responsible for direct buses through Winners’ Chapel designated routes and sees to the smooth transportation of passengers in and out of the buses/LFC.

PUBLICITY UNIT (Ps.68:11; Isa.8:16)

Having a background in journalism or media services is a huge advantage if you want to join this service group or department in the Winners’ Chapel. 

It is in charge of recording, transcribing and editing testimonies as well as all media and related matters in the Living Faith Church.

EVANGELISM UNIT (Jn.11:16)

The service group ensures that those who gave their lives to Christ during services are kept in the faith through regular visits and phone calls etc. 

Also, it organizes regular evangelism to bring the lost sheep back to Christ.

SALES/BOOKSTORE TEAM (Prov.23:23)

It helps in the sales of tapes, CDS, books and other Winners’ Chapel church items with membership being by application.

DRAMA UNIT (Rm.1:10-20; Jer.18:2-6)

The service unit also called the Joel Company, helps to propagate the gospel through drama during services at the Winners’ Chapel.

USHERING UNIT  (Ps.34.10)

For this unit, members create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere;  show kindness and care to those in need of physical support.

In addition, it receives worshippers and usher them to their seats and ensures orderliness in the services.

The distribution of church-related materials like handbills, magazines etc is done via members of this service unit. 

SANCTUARY KEEPING (Ex.19:10-11; Gen.2:15)

The Sanctuary Keepers service group in Winners’ Chapel sees that the church of God and the entire premises are well. Members usually meet on Saturday mornings. 

SECURITY SURVEILLANCE (Neh.7:3)

It sees to the security of lives and property especially vehicles within the church premises and enjoys membership from serving military personnel, para-military, ex-servicemen, security service operators among others. 

TRAFFIC CONTROL UNIT (2 Chro.1:14)

Members attend to vehicle/movement outside the main sanctuary and the adjoining roads reading to the church. FRSC personnel, VIO, Traffic-Wardens and all other traffic-related professionals are highly-needed in this service group or unit in the church.

TECHNICAL UNIT (Ex.36:1-2)

It sets up and maintains public address systems in the Winners’ Chapel. Productions of teaching tapes on CDs, and DVDs are also carried out by the group.

CHOIR (2 Chro.5:13-14)

The service group leads the congregation to offer quality praise and worship, music, minister inspirational spiritual songs. Experience in singing ability and skill to play musical instruments are advantages for those who wish to join this department in church.

CROWD CONTROL UNIT (1 Cor.14:40) 

Ensures the orderly movement of worshippers within the church and its premises. 

COUNSELING/FOLLOW UP UNIT (Acts.15:36; 18:25-26)

Members receive and counsel new converts after every service and ensure the follow-up of new converts and first time worshippers to establish them in the faith and in the church.

CHILDREN/TEEN TEACHERS (Deut.6:6-7) 

The service group maintains order in the children/teen’s sections, teaches and instructs the children/teens in the children’s section of the church in the way of the Lord. Prior training and experience in child upbringing is an advantage for those joining the unit.

DECORATION (Ex.31:2-9)

It sees to the decoration and beautification of the church for all occasions. Experienced interior decorators are highly welcomed to this service unit.

MEDICAL UNIT (LK.10.33-34)

They attend  to medical needs during services, direct and help congregants in need of medical attention at the church clinic and during healing school programs. 

Doctors, nurses and others who are experienced in medical services are qualified to be members of the unit.

HOSPITALITY UNIT (Rm.12:13; Heb.13:1-2)

Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the church services. Show kindness and care to those in need of physical support. 

PROTOCOL UNIT

The protocol unit or service group of the Winners’ Chapel is involved in welcoming and receiving visitors, manning the doors and providing information to worshippers and visitors.

HOW TO JOIN SERVICE UNITS IN WINNERS’ CHAPEL

To join any of these service groups in Winners’ Chapel, you must: 

  1. Be a member of the church.
  2. Undergo your foundation school also called the believers’ class.
  3. Apply to your desired service unit.
