Prophetic Theme: WISDOM FROM ABOVE ENTHRONES–Gen. 41:38-44

Teaching series: UNVEILING THE REALITY OF WISDOM FROM ABOVE– Job. 28:7-28

 Introduction

• We serve the God of all wisdom, who gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to men of understanding – Dan. 2:21/ Jud. 1:25
• The depth, both of the wisdom and knowledge of God are unsearchable – Rom. 11:33
• This order of wisdom cannot be found in the land of the living; it cannot be acquired from any school of learning; the eyes of researchers cannot find it because it is hidden from the eyes of men– Job. 28:7-25

We shall be examining characteristics of divine wisdom and how to access it in our services all though this month

Week 1(Sunday. 2nd October 2022): UNVEILING THE REALITY OF WISDOM FROM ABOVE

What is Divine Wisdom?

• It is the ‘PURE GIFT’of God to all His children – Pro. 13:22/ Mat. 11:19
• Joseph pointed to God as the source of the wisdom at work in him
  – Gen 41:15-16/38-44
• God gave Solomon wisdom – 1 Kgs. 3:5-12/ 1Kgs. 4:29-30
• The four Hebrew boys had this gift of wisdom in all leaning and skills that made them ten times better than their colleagues – 1:17/20
• Daniel testified that the wisdom at work in him was a Gift – 2:21-23/30
• In like manner, the wisdom at work in Paul was a gift from God – 3:8-11/ 2 Pet 3:15

Access to Divine Wisdom

• Through the fear of the Lord– Psa. 111:9/ Gen 42:18/ Gen 41:38-44/
• Through prayer of enquiries – Jam. 1:5/ Dan. 2:16-19

Week 2 (Sunday. 9th October 2022): UNVEILING THE REALITY OF WISDOM FROM ABOVE

What is Divine Wisdom?

• It is the applied knowledge of the Truth – Mat. 7:24-25/ 2 Cor. 13:8
• It is supernatural Insight into the issues of life – Pro. 21:22/ Jhn. 8:1-12/ Mak. 12:13-17

Access to Divine Wisdom

• Through a genuine heart for God –1 Sam. 13:14/2 Sam. 14:20
• Through prayer and fasting– Isa. 58:6/8/ Dan. 10:1-10

Week 3 (Sunday 16th October 2022): UNVEILING THE REALITY OF WISDOM FROM ABOVE

What is Divine Wisdom?

• It is the wisdom that the Holy Ghost teaches– Jhn. 16:12-14/ 1 Cor. 2:12-14
• It is multifaceted, covering all areas of life – Eph. 3:8-11(Amp)

Access to Divine Wisdom

• Through a Joyful heart– Isa. 30:29-30/ Phi. 4:4/ 2 Pet. 3:15
• Through the Inspiration of the Holy Ghost– Job 32:7-8/ 3:16-17/ 2 Pet. 1:19-20

 Week 4 (Sunday 23rd October 2022): UNVEILING THE REALITY OF WISDOM FROM ABOVE

What is Divine Wisdom?

• It is a manifestation of the wisdom at work in believers – 11:1-3/ Act 6:3/10/Act. 16:4-5
• It is the product of putting the word to work in our lives as individuals- 119:97-100/ Mat. 7:24-25/ 2 Tim 3:15

Access to Divine Wisdom

• Through meekness of spirit– Dan. 2:30/ Gen. 41:16/ Num. 12:1-3
• Through a focused and keen observation of things around us – Pro. 24:27-30/ 13:28-29/ 1 Cor. 11:14

Week 5 (Sunday 30th October 2022): UNVEILING THE REALITY OF WISDOM FROM ABOVE

What is Divine Wisdom?

• It is inspired insight from our study of the word and other spiritual resources
  – 9:2/ 1Tim. 4:13/ 2 Pet. 3:15
• It is the product of a subject-focused meditation – 18:1/1 Tim. 4:15

Access to Divine Wisdom

• Through a commitment to continuous feeding on the word– Psa. 119:97-100/
  19:7-9/ 2Tim 3:15-17
• By the Holy Ghost through whom we have access to the deep things of God
  – Jhn. 16:12-14/ 1Cor. 2:9-10/13-14
